FOUNDATION STATEMENT

Bead Impact Art is a new field of contemporary art founded by Wiciya.

In Bead Impact Art, action does not become spectacle, does not expand into gesture, and does not dissolve into process. It is fixed in matter through one precise human act.

It begins from the minimum, may accumulate, and may be stopped at any moment.

It begins where the image is no longer enough.

One bead, sewn by hand into a surface, forms a Unit — a material point where action becomes visible and presence enters matter.

A Unit is created with a purpose.

The purpose defines what the Unit is created to carry, open, transmit, support, focus, or complete.

This is not depiction.

It is the moment when a purpose enters matter through a bead.

The bead is not decoration.
It is not a symbol.
It is not a compositional detail.

It is the material evidence of an act.

The work is not defined by what it depicts, but by what has happened within it and by the purpose fixed in matter through the act.

This does not mean that the work has no meaning.

Each Unit carries meaning, but this meaning is not dependent on depiction. It enters the work through purpose, intention, action, material, title, surface, colour, position, and the moment in which the act takes place.

The viewer may bring perception, memory, and inner state to the encounter. The viewer may interpret, feel, or enter the state carried by the Unit. But interpretation does not create the Unit, complete it, or cancel it.

The Unit begins in the act already fixed in matter.

The Unit is not empty.

It holds the purpose and intention of the act that created it.

Bead Impact Art does not remove meaning. It moves meaning from representation into purpose, intention, action, and matter.

This shift also gives freedom to the artist. The artist is no longer bound to create an illusion in order for the work to exist. A clear material act constitutes the work.

A surface may remain almost unchanged, yet once one bead enters it through action, the work is no longer only an image.

It holds an act.

Bead Impact Art is built on the understanding that human beings know the world not only through observation, thought, or language, but through action.

One bead is enough when one act fulfils the purpose.

The value is not in quantity.

The value is in the act itself:
conscious,
precise,
physical,
and fixed in matter.

A bead differs from a stroke because it does not dissolve into the image. It remains as body. It carries the act, holds presence, and allows presence to accumulate.

The act may stop with one bead or continue bead by bead.

A Unit is complete when the purpose for which it was created has been fulfilled in matter.

Continuation is not defined by the possibility of adding more.

Continuation belongs to the purpose of the Unit.

When the act continues, the work does not simply become more detailed or decorative. It receives repeated moments of human presence.

In this way, Bead Impact Art becomes an art of transmission.

A work can hold the presence of one person, a family, a lineage, a community, or a generation.

A photograph preserves the image of a person.

A Unit preserves the act of a person.

Bead Impact Art does not depict presence.

It fixes presence through action.

The impact has already begun.
