About the Founder

My name is Elena Wiciya, and I am the founder of Bead Impact Art — a field of contemporary art based on the Method of Material Intervention.

Bead Impact Art is not an art of depiction. It does not aim to illustrate or decorate. It is a practice that reveals inner states through direct contact with matter. By sewing a bead into the surface, intention becomes action, and presence becomes visible.

This work is about returning to reality — to the body, to responsibility, to conscious choice. It is an art that does not escape the world, but enters it.

Through one act, matter changes.

Through that change, we return to ourselves.
