THE SEVEN DOORS
THE SEVEN DOORS is a Bead Impact Art project that brings seven purposes of action into practice.
Each chapter explores why a Unit may be created and what human purpose the action can serve.
The Door is determined by the primary purpose of the action.
The project does not treat the Doors as abstract categories. It shows what happens when Bead Impact Art is used for artistic authorship, constructive development, family continuity, community interdependence, social connection, contemplative return, or action directed toward change.
The same structure remains throughout: one bead, one real human act, a Carrier changed by what has occurred, and a Unit created through that action.
- Privilege of Action — to create through autonomous artistic action and establish authorial presence.
- Accessibility — to make real constructive action possible through adaptation and support, strengthening the experience of being able to act, create, continue, and build.
- Family and Lineage — to connect and transmit actions across generations.
- Community — to unite people through one Shared Unit and make their interdependence visible.
- Social Participation — to strengthen human connection through shared creative time while each person creates an individual Unit.
- Contemplative Action — to return inward through sustained attention and action.
- Manifestation — to enter a chosen direction through a real act.
A family may create one Unit across generations. A community may act within one shared Carrier and become connected through the same material field. A group may sit together while each person develops an individual Unit. A person may return to one Unit throughout life. Another may choose a direction of change and begin to act within it.
The purposes differ, but the fundamental structure of Bead Impact Art remains.

I. Privilege of Action — Presence

To Express and Establish Presence
A person creates a Unit through an autonomous act.
A state, feeling, memory, thought, inner direction, personal meaning, or artistic intention may give direction to the act. The person decides to act, and the bead fixes the real act itself in matter.
The Unit does not illustrate presence. It establishes presence through a real act.
II. Accessibility

To Make Action Possible Through Adaptation and Support
Every person can enter Bead Impact Art.
The form of action may be adapted according to individual abilities and needs. Support can prepare, guide, or assist the act without replacing the person whose participation, choices, and material trace become part of the Unit.
III. Family and Lineage

To Connect and Transmit Actions Across Generations
A Unit may be created by children, parents, grandparents, and future generations.
Each person adds a distinct act. Over time, the Unit becomes a material family history in which actions are preserved, encountered, and continued across generations.
IV. Community

To Create One Shared Unit Through Distinct Individual Acts

Every act remains distinct, yet each new action takes place within conditions already changed by the actions of others. The shared Unit becomes a material history of many people acting together without becoming the same.
V. SOCIAL PARTICIPATION

To Create Individual Units Within a Shared Social Process
People come together within one shared process, but each person creates their own individual Unit.
They may share time, space, observation, conversation, experience, and the atmosphere of action. Each participant remains the author of their own work, while the experience of creating becomes social.
VI. Contemplative Action

To Return Inward Through Sustained Attention and Action
A person may return to the same Unit whenever further action becomes necessary.
The Unit may accompany reflection, recovery, grief, gratitude, uncertainty, recognition, or change. It can continue through hours, years, or an entire lifetime, following the rhythm of an inner process.
VII. MANIFESTATION

To Enter a Chosen Direction Through a Real Act
A person chooses what they want to help create, change, strengthen, protect, restore, or make possible.
They enter that direction through a real act.
The bead fixes the act that has actually taken place. One bead is one real act in a chosen direction.
