PAINTINGS

Drawing has been an essential part of my life since childhood.

Before Bead Impact Art emerged, I returned to painting as an independent medium of image, surface, colour, and atmosphere. From 2016, I began a deeper personal exploration of painting, working with landscape, silence, space, and inner states through the painted surface.

These paintings belong to the period before the bead entered painting as a material element. They show painting as a visual space in which feeling, distance, memory, and presence could be held through colour and form.

Taste of Freedom is the final work in this stage. Painting and beads meet within the same work: the image still exists, and the beads still carry a decorative function, but the search has reached its limit.

After this work, the bead no longer had to serve the image as a tree, a flower, or an ornament. It could separate from representation and move toward the condition that would later define Bead Impact Art: a real human act fixed in matter through a bead. This work closes the period before Bead Impact Art.
