I. Privilege of Action — Presence

To Express and Establish Presence

The Privilege of Action is the Door of autonomous authorial creation within Bead Impact Art.

It is open to artists and to anyone seeking a material way to express a state, feeling, memory, thought, inner direction or personal meaning.

Within this Door, the creator forms the carrier as part of the work. Its scale, material, colour, texture and visual field are chosen and created intentionally. The action does not exist separately from this carrier, and the carrier is not simply a background for the bead.

The carrier and the real human action become one complete work: a Unit.

The creator decides where to act, how the action develops, whether it remains singular or continues, and when the Unit is complete. One bead may be enough. Another Unit may contain many.

The bead is an addition to the material field. With each act, something is added to reality and the work takes form through this accumulation.

The privilege here is not artistic status or institutional permission. It is the freedom and capacity to create, to make a decision, and to give that decision material form.

The Unit does not depict the creator’s presence.

The creator establishes presence by acting.

In these Units, the carrier was created specifically for each work, and the action became an inseparable part of its final form.

Unit 013 — Leverage
The carrier, its proportions and the placement of the action work together as one composition.

Units 014–016 — Silence I, Silence II, Silence III
Three autonomous works in which restrained material fields and minimal actions carry different states of silence, attention and inner concentration.

Unit 017 — Catharsis
Multiple acts accumulate within one carrier, allowing the Unit to develop through tension toward release.

Unit 018 — Weightlessness
Accumulation reaches another condition: repetition and placement no longer create density alone, but begin to produce lightness.

Unit 019 — One Gold
The carrier moves beyond the canvas and becomes wearable. A single gold bead enters a brooch Unit, carrying presence, value and abundance into the space of the body and lived reality.

Unit 020 — Transcendence
The movement continues beyond the fixed field. The Unit is carried with the person, allowing presence to enter movement, encounter and the external world.

Together, Units 013–020 show how the First Door can lead to very different forms while preserving the same principle: the creator forms the carrier and the action as one indivisible work.
