This work does not depict an image. It presents a surface.

A matte field of cold beige is constructed using acrylic and texture paste, forming a quiet material ground that resists narrative and illustration. The canvas holds no representation and offers no interpretation. It remains open, until the moment of intervention.

At a single point, a brown bronze bead is sewn into the surface by hand. The bead is not placed as decoration or compositional accent. It marks the exact moment when intention becomes physical and presence enters matter.

This act transforms the painted field into a site of contact.
The surface is no longer background; it becomes a witness.
