DIALOGUES

Dialogue with Image and Existing Field

Dialogues presents Units created through an encounter with an existing image, object, artwork, or material field.

In these works, the existing field is not used merely as a background. It already carries its own history, meaning, form, and presence. Wiciya enters into relation with it through one real material act.

The dialogue may affirm, question, continue, interrupt, or move beyond what is already present. The original field remains, but the bead introduces another position—one that could not exist within the image alone.

Each dialogue begins with attention: What is already held within this field? What remains unspoken? Where can action enter?

Through the Unit Method, one bead is sewn by hand into the chosen field. The bead does not erase the existing meaning or replace it with another image. It establishes a real act within what already exists and reveals light through that encounter.

The result is neither an alteration for decoration nor an appropriation of the existing work. It is a Unit formed through relation—a meeting between an existing field and a new act.

The field remains.
The act enters.
Dialogue begins.
