UNIT 008 — RESONANCE

Resonance is a Unit within the project 9 STATES.

The Unit begins with a field already carrying movement.

The act does not interrupt that movement or attempt to bring it to rest. Instead, one fixed material point enters a state that appears to continue around it.

The relation between the bead and the surrounding field creates neither opposition nor complete assimilation. The act remains distinct, while the field continues to move.

Resonance emerges from this relation.

A single action can remain materially small while extending beyond the point at which it occurred. What has been fixed in one place can alter how the surrounding field is perceived.

Resonance explores how one completed act can remain singular while its presence continues through the field around it.
